Getting started with Blueticks

Create a free account, connect your WhatsApp, then schedule a test message to yourself. The app’s setup screen walks you through it in a few minutes.

1. Create your account

  1. Go to blueticks.co/signup.
  2. Click Continue with Google, or enter your Work email and a Password (at least 6 characters).
  3. Click Create free account →. No credit card is needed.

Already have an account? Click Log in under the form, or go straight to app.blueticks.co/login.

Blueticks opens the app, and the setup screen (Let’s connect your WhatsApp) opens by itself a few seconds later. If you skip it, open it again from Finish connecting in the app’s sidebar.

2. Connect WhatsApp

Blueticks sends from the WhatsApp number you already use. The setup screen offers two ways to connect it:

On this computer (free)

  1. Under On this computer, click Start free.
  2. Add Blueticks to Chrome: click Add to Chrome and add the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Adding it opens WhatsApp Web for you.
  3. Open WhatsApp Web. If it shows a QR code, scan it once with your phone. When your chats appear, you’re done.

Each step ticks itself the moment it’s done, so you don’t need to come back and click anything.

Always on (Pro)

  1. Under Want it to send with your computer off?, click Set up always-on.
  2. If you don’t have Pro yet, click Start my free 7-day trial. No card is needed.
  3. Click Create my always-on connection and wait a moment while Blueticks prepares it.
  4. Link your phone in one of two ways:
    • Scan the QR code: on your phone, open WhatsApp, tap Settings → Linked devices → Link a device, and point the phone at the code.
    • On your phone only? Click Link with phone number instead, enter your number with the country code, and click Get code. In WhatsApp, go to Settings → Linked devices → Link a device → Link with phone number instead and type the code.

3. Schedule your first message

Once you’re connected, the setup screen offers to send a message to you, so you can watch it arrive.

  1. Keep the default text or change it.
  2. Click Schedule it.
  3. Open the chat with yourself in WhatsApp to see it. WhatsApp doesn’t notify you about messages you send to yourself.

If you connected on this computer, keep WhatsApp Web open until the message sends.
